Dakhmas in the heart of Europe

Monday 10 September 2007, by Tom BRKIC

The structure seen in the below video are tombs in cemeteries located in Bosnia where more than 50.000 of them are still standing. Unfortunately, insufficient knowledge make authorities and locals neglect this heritage.

In the first site, the stones have an original form: their shape is similar to Dakhma. Garduneh Mehr or the Swastika which was a sacred symbol is graved on some of them. They never carry violent images but only peaceful and gracious representations. The surroundings are always beautiful spots in nature. Notice especially the Cypresses.

The second location is at the entrance to Stolac = Desk A Croatian / Muslim town in Herzegovina. Notice the hollow pit on the desks for placement of the head of corps. These Desks are made according to the Vendidad or A Daevo Dat Zakon dati protiv djavola. The Men and Women how made these, reached definitely Amertat.

During the Inquisition, well over 200.000 educated people escaped Croatians who became Catholic. They declined their identity because of the church.
