Stonehenge has been king Arthur’s Camelot
- 2000 B.C. — an idealized view from the south showning the sarsen stone in half its breadth.
Originally you will get the idea that it is from Camelot that the celts create the god Dagda’s (the good god’s) temple and thus you can easily deduct that this god is replaced by King Arthur after the arrival of the anglosaxons, because Dagda (Nordic Frey) was the king av war, wisdom and magic and had been the specific divinity of the ancent celtic warriorpriests, the druids. The name of Druids means “shooting down” in celtic, not “oak” as origanilly was believed. This should be set in comparison with with the corresponding Nordic valkyrjer wich means “those who fall down in the struggle shall be selected”. It seems that the celtic word Dagda has been traslated to nailposts or dayposts, i.e. Camelot (protruding calendar posts). Dagda’s mother Danan (planty) is synonymous with nordic Nerthus (Frey’s mother).
Atlantis has been Ireland
Olof Rudbeck’s daring theory that Atlantis (outland) originally was situated in Sweden, or the Nordic countries, seems to me be obsolote, though I admit it was an intresting thesies. I would rather locate this mythical land to Ireland or Isle of Man. Atlantis has its roots in the present name Ireland, but also in it’s antique name Hibernia. These names originate from the Latin words ebairo and ebrios which means “by the side [standing] and “the drowned [land]”. These meanings are very Well suited to the tales concering the location of Atlantis. Furthermore is their golden Poseidon temple connected to the Irish seagod Manannan’s peculiar island, i.e the Isle of Man. The ancient Irishmen especially worshipped this seagod Mannanan Maclir (Manannan the son of Lir) and they believed he was catering his guests in the temple of his island with great luxury as did his Nordic equivalent Äger (the island owner), actually a strange figure in the Nordic myths of gods.
Originally the Nordic Ägir is the Irish seagod Manannan Maclir because still today his island bears his name, The Isle of Man (Manannan) in the Irish Sea. If you interpret Manannan Maclir’s name as a double name of the Irish` protective, ancestrial and seagod, one can derivate the name of the Irish form their forefather’s name, i.e. hibern, which means out of the mainland living people. This orgiginates from german ur (yr, ir), altogether this means “out of mainland living people” (mainland being of course Britain). The mythical Avalon (the apple island or the island of the apostate) is in this cause Ireland and Isle of Man. One of the informal meanings of the Latin hibern was the drowned land (the drowned Atlantis). There are reasons to blieve that Mac-Lirs (Le-yrs?) like Manannan’s domestic Irish name might include the name of the Irish. Thus this will be the celtic equivalent to the celtic / german Manannan (man from another place) and the root “ur” in the name of Irland and the Irish. In the celtic Manannan’s name means “he with garden locality/place) and this can be connected to the mythical Avalon (apple garden), Atlantis (the out land) and the Isle of Man and Ireland (the land situated outside the mainland) with each other.
At last I must add that Camelot (“the outskirting stonechamber”) as the sun- and wargod Arthure’s temple (palace) is England’s famous Stonehenge. Maybe the word camelot (newspaper vender in French) may hint this place having been an ancient trading place.
King Arthur (Tyr, Frey, Ve) as the angles’ sacred sun- wargod
- The image of Tyr on a bracteate, found in Skydstrop, in Sweden.
The wolf is Mordred King Arthur’s son and his wolfclothed slayer, i.e. the Nordic mythological wolf Skoll (“betrayal”) or Fenrisulven (“the ferocious scavenger”) who pursues the sun (Tyr; Saxnot; Oden) and at last devours him. The dopuble cross in his right hand is the hadle to the sungod’s short or bladehidden sword.
About the Frey-Tyr statue from Södermanland in Sweden
- One handed Frey, equivalent of the sun-wargod Tyr.
At first glance you see a sitting godstatue with a great phallus. Adam of Bremen has told aabout the most sacred god of the swedes being Frey in the shape of a man with a great pallus. I have one thing worth noticing: the man is one handed wich is characteristic for the sun- and wargod Tyr. The Swedish mytologist Åke Ohlmarks says: “Frey is the god [Tyr, Ärtyr, Arthur] himself”. King Arthur was marriaged as like as Frey with his sister. King Arthur’s Camelot (the protruding posts) Frey’s Alfheim (the land of the Wis people) and Avalon (the island of the apostate) are in fact as follows the immigrated anglosaxons Stonehenge, and Irland (Hibernia), the land of the celtic tribes. King Arthur (the glorious sun/wargod) or Saxnot (the god with short sword) has been the Anglo-Saxon tribes’ greatest divinity.
