Shayan Italia, a young Zoroastrian artist

Tuesday 7 November 2006, by Shayan ITALIA

My name is Shayan Italia and I am the artist/songwriter of the album DELIVERANCE. I also happen to be a Zoroastrian.

I am pleased to mention that I have now signed a worldwide digital distribution deal to have the album distributed online in over 25 countries, including North & South America, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Japan, France, United Kingdom, Singapore, New Zealand, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Portugal, Germany Sweden, Switzerland, Greece, Ireland, Italy and more… The album is featured on iTunes, Napster, eMusic, HMV Digital, Virgin Digital and all other digital providers.

In light of the above I wish to make all Zoroastrians across the globe aware of the same.

Please visit www.shayanitalia.com and mySpace to know more about me and listen to the album in full. Also do watch the music video for my debut single REFLECTION which I think you will very much enjoy!

I really want to get Zoroastrians across the world to be a part of this unique project. If you can help in any way spread the word, i.e. recommend the music, or contemplate writing about this project so that other Zoroastrians may read about it, I would be most grateful.

    Hi Shayan,

I listened to your album. Is amazing and you made me proud to be Zoroastrian. I am a dentist by profession but, me and few other Z’s formed the first rock band in Vancouver, Canada. ( we no longer play).
I will forward your name to all my friends in North America and Iran. I wish you success.

    regards, houman

Dearest son Shayan: I say son coz I am 58 years this year and yet very very young due to music. I am also a small composer and musician and share a similar life story with you. My parents were both called away to heaven when I was 18 years old, and both passed away within four days of each other. That made me so strong and I have also survived eight long operations, very painful ones and yet if u see me there is the glory of Ahura Mazda shining, in your face and mine, for we are the angels, some of us on earth, to share our story thru music and love to all humans. My vision is to go around the world singing with the children of the world and give help to the poor children who need us. My family name is also ITALIA and my email is italia117@hotmail.com. Do send me a message and we will talk further so I can tell you all about my dream and vision. Love, Ash. p.s. i am listening to your lovely, divine voice, as I am typing this email...GOD BLESS YOU.

    Dear Shayan,

Your music was amazing - deep and rich - touched my soul. After a long time a song has moved me the way Soul did. You are very talented and I take this opportunity to wish you all the best in life always.

Read something really nice today which I would like to share with you Shayan :
Those we love never go away ...
They walk beside us everyday ...
Unseen and unheard, still near, still missed and still very dear ...
To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.

    God bless you!

    Fondly,

    Anita
