Ādarbād ī Mahrspendān (Adarbad son of Mahrspend), a Zoroastrian high priest, lived in the reign of the early Sasanian kings (≈ 240 – 340 A. D.). He played an important part in the definition of the Zoroastrian canon (the Avesta’s twenty-one Nasks).
