This book is Vol. I of two volumes of Bactrian texts and one volume of plates.
The documents are presented in four groups:
- Dated documents, on leather (except document C, written on cloth).
- Undated documents, mostly contracts, on leather.
- Lists and accounts, on leather.
- Wooden slips.
The printing is with facing pages of Greek-letter text and an English translation of it. The glossary gives complete loci, variant spelling, grammatical notes, with etymologies. There is also a complete reverse index.
